Overview

Fort Health Care is a patient-centered hospital and healthcare system serving individuals, businesses and families in Jefferson, Dane, and Walworth Counties and we are seeking a Materials Distribution Technician to join our Materials Management team.

Shift: 80 hours per bi-weekly pay period

7:00 am-3:30 pm

• Maintains par carts and Pyxis machines by counting, scanning and replenishing for designated departments.
• Issues and charges items to proper department using EHS.
• Makes necessary adjustments when inventory adjustments are required using EHS.
• Previews/edits, pulls and delivers requisitions to designated departments.
• Receives incoming shipments, makes visual inspection of all containers, signs freight bill, and when necessary, notes any damage to shipment.
• Verifies accuracy of shipment according to the packing slip and purchase order and makes appropriate receiving entry in computer.
• Utilizes electronic scanners for package tracking and supply receipt.
• Edits, previews, prints and pulls requisitions for stocked items and deliver to respective departments.
• Prepares, packages and labels outgoing shipments. Contacts carriers as needed.
• Sorts, distributes, and manages incoming and outgoing mail.
