Performs research activities and other tasks as necessary in a laboratory environment. Records observations and measurements and reports results. Responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining clean rooms and equipment. Assists with receipt and inspection of raw materials, and ordering and stocking of materials and equipment. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision.
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Associates in Clinical lab science and at least 1 year of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
