Electrical Service Technician

Job Summary

Intex Electrical is seeking a skilled and dependable Electrical Service Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems for commercial and industrial customers. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, professional, and able to diagnose electrical issues efficiently while providing excellent customer service.

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components
• Perform electrical service calls, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Install electrical devices, fixtures, panels, and related equipment
• Identify issues using electrical testing equipment and provide effective solutions
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
• Ensure all work complies with electrical codes and safety standards
• Maintain accurate service reports and documentation
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding service needs and solutions
• Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies

• 3+ years of electrical service or commercial electrical experience preferred
• Valid electrician license (Journeyman preferred, depending on state requirements)
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of NEC and electrical safety practices
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls

• Experience with commercial service work
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to identify and recommend solutions for electrical issues
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work on ladders and lifts
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments
