Join Our Team as a Safety and Loss Prevention Manager!

Are you passionate about creating a secure shopping environment while providing exceptional customer service? As the Safety and Loss Prevention Manager, you will be integral to our team, taking on exciting responsibilities that shape the store's safety culture.

  • Collaborate closely with the Store Operational Leadership team to foster a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all customers.
  • Analyze operational trends such as receiving, shipping, and sales to proactively identify and solve potential challenges.
  • Lead initiatives focused on enhancing safety measures, reducing shrinkage, and reinforcing security protocols.
  • Manage programs designed to minimize loss while ensuring a secure working environment for all staff.
  • Address criminal activities directly, providing support to team members through effective training and mentorship.
  • React promptly to emergencies to ensure the safety of both customers and associates.
  • Become our go-to expert on safety reports and compliance with regulatory standards.

Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, or assisting neighboring stores.

What We're Looking For

This role requires flexibility, with a commitment of 39 to 40 hours per week for full-time positions or up to 25 hours for part-time roles. Additional hours may be needed based on store demands, so availability across morning, afternoon, and evening shifts any day of the week is essential.

Physical capability is important, including prolonged standing, sitting, and lifting a minimum of 25 pounds without assistance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, or a High School Diploma with 3 years of relevant experience in retail or Asset Protection.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Safety, Business, or a related field.
  • Completion of nationally recognized training programs, such as Wicklander-Zuwalski or Reed training.
  • Possession of professional credentials (e.g., APQ, APC) or related experience.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience with a focus on coaching and performance management.
  • 2 years of management experience in retail, including 1 year of conducting audits.
  • Experience in analyzing business documents like P&L and exception reports.
  • Proficient in performing retail investigations and knowledgeable about physical security systems (e.g., CCTV, EAS).
