Production Planning - Supply Chain

We are working on a direct-hire Supply Chain / Production Planning leadership role for a growing manufacturing client with global operations. This position owns end-to-end planning, materials, logistics, and order fulfillment for the Americas region and plays a critical role in ensuring production has everything it needs—on time and on budget.

This leader sits at the center of the operation, translating demand into executable plans and handing off a clean, well-timed flow of materials to production
. They oversee raw materials, inventory, logistics, supplier performance, and production planning while coordinating closely with global teams and overseas suppliers. The role balances strategic planning with day-to-day execution in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Salary range $140K–$150K plus bonus

• Oversees MPS/MRP, inventory control, and supplier strategy
• Ensures materials flow smoothly from suppliers → ports → warehouse → production
• Manages timelines, budgets, and shifting demand priorities
• Leads cross-functional teams across planning, logistics, warehousing, and materials
• Strong global exposure and collaboration with international partners

• 8+ years in supply chain, materials, or purchasing (direct materials preferred)
• 5+ years in production planning within manufacturing
• Strong understanding of planning timelines
  , logistics constraints, and inventory flow
• ERP experience required (SAP preferred); strong Excel skills
• Proven ability to manage cost, schedules, and competing priorities
• Confident leader who can communicate clearly with senior leadership
