About The Role
In your role as an Activities Co‑ordinator at HC‑One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Every single person who works here understands that our Residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining HC‑One you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
As an Activities Co‑ordinator it will mean planning and implementing the kinds of activities that will delight our Residents, helping the Home Manager organise essential fundraising events, giving our Residents confidence to socialise more effectively and working on new activity ideas based on Residents’ hobbies while getting the rest of the care home team involved. HC‑One are looking for someone with a background working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programmes and bringing brilliant, positive energy and natural ability to get along with people.
You’ll have great planning, organisational and IT skills and be able to manage your time effectively, communicating with Residents and co‑workers in a considerate and kind manner. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility; you will recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect, attend safeguarding training and report concerns if necessary.
At HC‑One, kindness is more than a word—it’s a way of life. We believe caring for people means caring about what matters most to them, so we can support them to live their best possible lives. We champion inclusivity, fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and prioritise inclusive working practices. We are enhancing the way we support residents through digital care planning, streamlining care and improving outcomes.
We care about our colleagues and are committed to supporting your personal and professional development, with clear career pathways and continuous learning.
