Location:
Forfar
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Duration: 15 Month Fixed Term - Maternity Cover. Starting as soon as possible
Hours:
Monday-Thursday 08:30-17:00, Friday 08:30-16:30
You will be the primary point of contact for customers, handling enquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring every customer receives an excellent experience. The role requires a customer‑centric mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a variety of customer concerns efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, or in person promptly and professionally.
- Assist customers with product or service questions, technical issues, and order‑related concerns.
- Identify and resolve customer complaints by following established procedures.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or manager when necessary.
- Provide accurate information on products, services, pricing, and promotions.
- Upsell or cross‑sell products and services where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the company's CRM system.
- Document customer feedback and recurring issues to support continuous improvement.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with customers through empathy, understanding, and a positive attitude.
- Actively seek opportunities to exceed customer expectations and enhance satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other customer service tools.
- Patience, empathy, and a customer‑focused mindset.
- High school diploma or equivalent required – a business‑related qualification is advantageous.
- Previous experience in customer service, support, or a similar role is beneficial.
- Flexibility to support administration tasks as required.
