For this B-Shift position the days/hours are as follows:

Sunday thru Tuesday: 7 pm to 7 am.
Wednesday: 7 pm to 1 am.
Thursday: (time not specified).

Starting Pay: $20.35/hr plus a $2.00 shift premium.

Perform various positions as required/assigned.

This position is responsible for monitoring production throughout the processing phase and providing training for all new and existing team members while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• Applicants will be considered for any production lead opening.
• These openings require standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, shoveling, climbing stairs and ladders up to 60 feet, bending, stretching, reaching, working in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical and maintenance functions.
• Maintain clean work area by using soap and a high‑pressure hose.
• Must be able to read and complete required logs.
• Must be able to communicate with supervisor and co‑workers via two‑way radio.
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• May be required to operate a frontend loader, manlift, or forklift and will need to obtain certification toarched do so.
• This position requires documented work experience in multiple areas of a rendering facility.

• Must have a minimum of 6 months work history with one employer within the past 12 months; preferred 6 months manufacturing or production lead experience in the last 2 years.
• The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or ca neuken chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Must have documented work experience in multiple areas of a rendering facility.

• Minimum waiting period of 180 days.
• No more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.
