Test Technician Sr

Test Technician Senior (Sr.). Raytheon invites applications for a senior test technician position based in Forest, MS, responsible for performing technical tasks across engineering, quality control, calibration, laboratories, and production test environments.

• Lift, walk, and climb stairs/ladder as needed on the test range.
• Test, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install a wide range of electronic, electro‑mechanical, mechanical, computer, laboratory, and scientific systems and equipment.
• Observe, analyze, and report test data; make necessary repairs to equipment.
• Work closely from approved procedures, schematics, and drawings.
• Validate and set up engineering and scientific equipment.
• Utilize engineering and scientific drawings, manuals, and documentation; ensure work correctness.
• Train junior test technicians on basic electronic principles, radio‑frequency theory, and troubleshooting methodology.
• Communicate technical issues by generating comprehensive failure entries related to test specifications.
• Interpret test data (plots, graphs, tabulated parameters) to determine pass/fail conditions and resolve needed analysis.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose failures from system level to line replaceable unit (LRU) to circuit card assembly (CCA) and components.
• Work a 1st shift onsite at the Forest, MS facility.

• Typically an AA/AS degree or 2‑year training plus minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience troubleshooting electronic circuits to component level and identifying failure trends.
• Experience with radios frequency systems and subsystems (transmitter, receiver, antenna, signal/data processor, power supply) evaluation.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

• Experience with radio‑frequency or electronic warfare systems.
• Previous work in a manufacturing/production test environment.
• Data entry experience with industry ERP such as PRISM, Oracle E‑Business, Microsoft Dynamics 365, etc.

Salary range: $47,700 – $90,900. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k) match, and more.
