$20.00/hr – $25.00/hr

Assist the Community Manager or Supervisor in completing tasks that ensure the community meets appearance, operational, and safety standards as set forth by BRG Apartments and applicable laws.

• Repair, replace, or install plumbing fixtures such as faucets, pipes, hot water tanks, toilets, garbage disposals, dishwashers, refrigerators, and washing machines.
• Repair, replace, or install electrical components including power switches, fuses, wall sockets, ceiling lights, fans, climate control systems, and garage door openers.
• Perform drywall repair and minor touch‑ups between tenant moves.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems (EPA certification required).
• Apply minor paint touch‑ups after repair work.
• Repair or replace household appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, washers, dryers, and air conditioners.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, sprinkler systems, smoke detectors, and fire extinguishers.
• Perform seasonal maintenance for swimming pools (opening, daily maintenance, and closing).
• Maintain health and safety systems such as sprinklers and smoke detectors.
• Install locks.
• Respond quickly and professionally to resident service requests.
• Participate in the on‑call rotation.
• Meet a minimum of 2 years of prior maintenance experience.

• Minimum 2–3 years of maintenance experience.
• Experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC.
• EPA certification for HVAC.
• Driver’s License (Required).
• Auto Insurance (Required).
• Ability to work an 8‑hour day shift on Monday to Friday and participate in on‑call rotation.
