Salary$52,000 to $56,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
Overview and ExpectationsWe are seeking a results-oriented, positive-minded professional to fill the Property Manager position at our Forest Park property. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, a customer-focused approach, and an optimistic outlook. As the Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing property operations, including management, leasing, resident satisfaction, and customer service. Your primary goal will be to maximize occupancy and renewal rates.
Key Responsibilities- Hire, train, supervise, and support the ongoing professional development of all on-site personnel.
- Implement and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for both personnel and residents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident files and digital records.
- Foster excellent customer service and positive relationships with residents to ensure an exceptional living experience.
- Address all site and resident issues promptly by managing maintenance and leasing operations, including overseeing scheduling and turnover procedures.
- Maintain professional relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other departments.
- Conduct regular inspections to uphold high curb appeal standards and identify areas for improvement or maintenance needs, ensuring the property's overall upkeep and attractiveness.
- Develop and implement plans to maximize occupancy rates and generate revenue through resident retention strategies and targeted marketing initiatives.
- Gather and compile information for market surveys.
- Oversee the entire tenant move-in and move-out process, which includes reviewing and approving lease applications and accurately preparing all lease-related paperwork.
- Develop budgets, prepare financial reports, and ensure the timely completion of administrative tasks.
- Previous experience in leasing or property management. (2+ years)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Demonstrated Sales and/or Customer Service Skills.
- Experience with property management software, preferably Rent Manager.
- Familiarity with data entry, phone etiquette, and email correspondence.
- Ability to operate within budget constraints and purchasing guidelines.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office.
- Having a good understanding of Fair Housing regulations is strongly preferred.
As a condition of employment, satisfactory background and MVR checks are required.
