Security Officer - Badge Checkpoint PT

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to location personnel, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Control access at gates, entrances, and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, authorizations, and delivery documentation, and by maintaining accurate visitor, vendor, and vehicle logs;
Monitor inbound and outbound traffic flow for trucks and employee vehicles, coordinate with site contacts on entry issues, and report irregular activity per post orders to help to deter unauthorized access;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed;
Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, yard areas, and the perimeter, including checks of doors, dock areas, and restricted zones, with working environments and conditions varying by location
