Overview
Maintenance Manager will support and assist the Logistics Facility Director and/or Supply Chain Maintenance Director with day‑to‑day maintenance activities within the logistics center to ensure timely completion in line with Supply Chain standards and at the lowest feasible cost.
Primary Responsibilities- Manage the maintenance and preventive maintenance programs for all electrical, mechanical and energy‑related equipment to ensure safe operation with minimum downtime.
- Work with the logistics center Operations team to schedule maintenance, installations and capital improvements, coordinating so that customer service and production are not compromised.
- Manage availability of spare parts, maintenance and housekeeping supplies, janitorial services and other building and ground upkeep services, including contracting external suppliers for specialized skills.
- Collaborate closely with the Maintenance and Engineering Support (MES) team to ensure consistency and SOPs, optimizing efforts across the Supply Chain Network Maintenance organization.
- Document and prioritize work orders in the MP2 Maintenance system, providing a safe and efficient work environment.
- Train and equip the maintenance staff; develop associates’ skills and technical knowledge.
- Apply knowledge of OSHA/EPA (Hazmat) regulations and work with the JCP Health and Safety team to ensure compliance with federal and local regulations. Participate in compliance programs, hazardous material handling, facility energy management, conservation, scrap/trash disposal and waste recycling programs.
- Work with logistic engineering management and external suppliers on capital project bids to ensure adherence to supply chain maintenance policies, procedures and standards.
- Coordinate with private and governmental agencies for special functions such as building code conformity, insurance inspections, road repairs, utility upkeep, and safety activities.
- Education:
College degree in Mechanical or Engineering fields preferred; equivalent experience considered. - Experience:
5‑7 years of facility/equipment maintenance, including 3‑5 years of supervisory experience. - Core Competencies:

Competencies:
Strong knowledge of MHE systems, leadership of technical teams, expertise in maintenance processes, flexibility, urgency, strong problem‑solving skills. - Software
Skills:
Experience with CMMS or EAM systems (Infor/MP2 preferred), basic Office software, knowledge of AutoCAD or ability to read drawings.
