Our Advanced Apprenticeship Scheme is a 4‑year programme designed to give you the technical skills and hands‑on experience needed to become a Maintenance Technician (Electrical).

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

Day to day duties will include but not be limited to learning the following:

• PLC’s and fault finding
• Testing motors, drives and pumps
• General problem solving
• Safety circuits and isolators
• Develop knowledge on motors and pumps

Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

• EAL Level 2 Diploma in Advanced
• Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence)
• EAL Level 3 Diploma in Advanced, Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) - Technical Support, EAL Level 3 Diploma in Advanced, Manufacturing Engineering, (Development Knowledge), completers may want to progress to, Engineering Apprenticeship Level 4 or HNC

GCSE in:

• Maths (grade
  4)
• Science (grade
  4)
