Dishwasher

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time DISHWASHER position.

Location:

Pacific University – 2043 College Way, Forest Grove, OR 97116. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule:

Full‑time. 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm; days may vary. More details will be provided during the interview.

Requirement:
Previous dishwashing experience preferred but not required.

Fixed Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour.

Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.

Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.

• Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyors to the dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Wash pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polish silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures.
• Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Keep dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Help load and unload supplies and product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
