Fabricator, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Fabricator role in Forest Grove, OR

• Fabricate metal components and assemblies using blueprints, work orders, and specifications.
• Operate and monitor fabrication equipment such as press brakes, saws, welders, grinders, and other shop machinery.
• Measure, cut, bend, and assemble materials to meet quality and dimensional requirements.
• Perform quality inspections on fabricated parts to ensure accuracy, strength, and finish.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and job travelers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and resolve fabrication challenges.
• Accurately document work performed, material usage, and any production issues.
• Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues promptly.

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior fabrication or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience working with metal fabrication tools and equipment is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work swing shift and occasional overtime as needed.
