Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant Our client seeks a skilled Senior Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong foundation in general ledger management, cash reconciliation, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage sensitive financial data with discretion and accuracy.

This role is on-site in Forest Grove, Oregon. Due to the nature of this role and immediate business needs, we are only considering candidates currently residing in Forest Grove, Oregon and surrounding area.

• Oversee general ledger maintenance, cash management, cost analysis, and financial reporting to ensure accurate financial statements.
• Ensure integrity of financial data by preparing and analyzing journal entries, reports, and reconciliations for sales, costs, earnings, and taxes.
• Assist with year-end audit reviews and support improvements in financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Prepare property tax filings ensuring accuracy.
• At least 3 years of experience as Staff Accountant; exposure to manufacturing or related industry preferred.
• Knowledge of fixed assets/depreciation, cash reconciliations, and property tax filing functions.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting functions.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP or similar preferred) and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Team-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Deadline-driven with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects.

Compensation: $40-$50/hour (DOE)
