AP Accountant

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable AP Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and experience with cost allocation across departments or projects. This role requires effective communication with vendors and internal teams and is well suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a focus on financial accuracy and efficiency.

This position is on-site in Forest Grove, Oregon.

• Process vendor invoices, including invoice matching to purchase orders and receiving documentation.
• Accurately code invoices to the general ledger, including appropriate cost allocation across departments, cost centers, or projects.
• Enter and maintain invoices in the accounts payable system in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain detailed records of paid and open invoices, including aging reports and disbursement tracking.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of accounts payable experience with a strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
• Manufacturing, distribution, or related industry preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with AP cost allocation and GL coding.
• ERP experience required, SAP strongly preferred and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Compensation: $30-$40/hour (DOE)
