Position: CVOR RN in Forest City, IA

Location:

Schedule:

• Day shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Approximately 10-12 days of on-call per month, including every third weekend

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring adherence to sterile technique and safety protocols
• Collaborate with surgical teams to provide optimal patient care during operative procedures
• Monitor and document patient statuses throughout surgical interventions
• Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies for cardiovascular procedures
• Participate in preoperative and postoperative patient care as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current RN licensure with demonstrated expertise in cardiovascular operating room nursing
• Previous experience in a CVOR setting preferred
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-pressure situations
