Overview

Assistant Production Manager – 2nd shift at Flex, Fontana, CA. Base pay range: $71,500.00/yr - $98,300.00/yr. This role reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for overseeing front-line employees in an assigned department to ensure efficiency and quality in production operations.

• Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department.
• May handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
• Identifies and corrects problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment, or skills.
• Develops and implements procedures and strategies to ensure a safe work environment.
• Provides recommendations to increase productivity and efficiency of the department.

• Open associates degree (Management, Engineering, Business).
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory capacity (50 – 100 employees).
• Experience in industrial electrical industry (critical infrastructure).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
