• Learn and maintain working knowledge of parts to assist in order accuracy.
• Pack orders, prepare bills of lading and shipping labels to ensure all orders ship securely and correctly.
• Use a forklift to gather parts, move orders, and load/unload trucks.
• Verify stock and provide inventory lists to purchasing.

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and team player with good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure and work with numbers.
• Comfortable using hand tools and other equipment.
• Forklift experience preferred; BCI Burke forklift certification required.
• Ability to follow direction and safe operating procedures.

Gathers and packages finished materials/products to be shipped out to customers.

• Read computer-generated pick list to locate parts for orders.
• Pull completed parts from bins and racks, place them in boxes or pallets for shipping.
• Record materials packaged on order pick list for accuracy.
• Use forklift to pull parts, move palletized orders, and load orders onto trucks.
• Ensure all pulled parts are labeled properly.
• Use nylon banding and banding tools to secure parts to pallets for shipping.
• Use shrink wrap and heat gun to shrink wrap pallets for shipping.
• Label all boxes and pallets with proper "ship to" address using computer-printed labels and prepare bills of lading.
• Operate company truck/van to transfer material between Sterling Building and Burke Main Campus.
• Unload trucks and maintain inventory of plastic parts at Sterling Building.
• Maintain excellent working knowledge of parts and part identification for accuracy in pulling orders.
• Verify parts received against packing lists and provide packing lists to purchasing daily.

• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; record location of inventory.
• Complete documentation by counting and recording units delivered and location accurately.
• Maintain in-process inventory by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
• Daily monitor parcel packages received and distribute them promptly campus-wide.
• Receive credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supply codes, lot number and quantity; place materials in stock.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work involves lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs, reaching 50 lbs, standing/sitting/ climbing, crouching, exposed to mechanical parts and high places, outdoor weather conditions, and loud noise level. Reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities.
