In order to be an effective diesel mechanic,there are other skills that can be learned through our training program.

Problem solving, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills, which are all used on a regular basis.

Engine electronics diagnosis and repair

Reading and repairing fault codes

Transmission and clutch replacements

Performing routine engine maintenance

Technology integration on engine structure

Running diagnostic and performance tests

Arc welding when required

Disassembling engines

Writing up maintenance and service reports

The daily workload of a diesel mechanic is one that featuresmany different tasks. These duties may be performed on large trucks, tractor trailers, construction vehicles and other types of heavy-duty machinery.

You may be qualified for more than one position with WCSR and if so we'll discuss this if you qualify for the next step phone interview.
