Position: Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)

Overview

Retail Assistant Manager — Assistant Store Leader Trainee. If you enjoy working as part of a management team and have previous supervisory experience, we would love the opportunity to talk with you about this role. We’re hiring immediately and focused on your success. We are committed to ensuring our employees receive proper training so they can confidently provide excellent customer service to our customers every time they visit.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching alongside the Store Leader for all store employees.
  • Identify qualified applicants, develop leaders, empower employees, and encourage productivity to support high retention.
  • Assist in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
  • Handle cash transactions, fuel transactions, and promote our loyalty program.
  • Maintain a clean, safe store environment in compliance with health and sanitation procedures; ensure products are in stock and the store presents well.
Qualifications
  • Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching, alongside the Store Leader for all store employees.
  • Demonstrated strength in maintaining high retention by focusing on qualified applicants, leadership development, empowering employees, and productivity.
  • Ability to assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
  • Competency in cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting our loyalty program.
  • Commitment to a clean, safe environment in line with health and sanitation procedures.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel preferred).
  • High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License from the state of residence with automotive liability insurance during employment.
  • Ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
