Retail Associate Part Time Temporary Now Hiring at The TJX Companies, Inc. We are looking for team members to support our TJ Maxx and related brands.
Job DescriptionResponsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience, engaging customers, maintaining a clean store, and performing merchandise handling. Cross‑trained to support multiple areas as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Role models customer experience practices with internal and external customers
- Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
- Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change
- Promotes credit and loyalty programs
- Maintains merchandising standards and processes merchandise for the sales floor
- Initiates and participates in store recovery and cleaning throughout the day
- Supports store shrink reduction goals and safety awareness
- Adheres to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexible schedule and ability to work multiple shifts
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Multi‑tasking and adaptability to changing situations
- Ability to lift heavy objects (
reasonable accommodation allowed) - Works effectively with peers and supervisors
- Retail customer experience preferred
