The Role
As a plasma donor screener and phlebotomist, you will support plasma center operations, ensuring high‑quality plasma collection and exceptional donor experience.
How You Will Contribute- Greet donors upon entry and exit
- Perform venipuncture and operate plasmapheresis machines
- Monitor donors during donation, managing reactions
- Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment
- Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on machines
- Stock supplies, break down cartons, and dispose properly
- Record vital signs and use electronic donor questionnaire system
- Perform finger‑stick tests for hematocrit, protein, and weight
- Enter donor information into the Donor Information System (DIS)
- Coordinate donors to donor floor and process debit card compensation
- Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement using 5S, VSM, and Kaizen
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Capacity to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. routinely, occasionally up to 32 lbs., rarely up to 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and hearing equipment alarms remotely
- Comfortable with prolonged glove wear (90% of tasks)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer or patient‑facing role (helpful)

Hourly wage: $17.00 (minimum wage compliant)
