Hours would be 16-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday or 12-hour shifts on Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday.

Up to $35/hour

The primary purpose of this job is to provide quality nursing care to residents, supervise the day-to-day nursing functions performed by Nursing Assistants, and coordinate all aspects of a resident's care with other disciplines in the center. Job duties are in accordance with current Federal and State Regulations that govern the center.

• Assist in the Admission/Discharge process
• Complete accident/incident reports and follow-up investigation process
• Transcribe physician orders, document all resident information as necessary, and notify physicians and families as needed. Review medication orders for completeness and accuracy.
• Be willing to learn the Electronic Medical Record system and adapt as needed
• Prepare and administer medication as ordered by the physician
• Be familiar with the Care Planning Process and participate in care conferences, updating as needed
• Develop and maintain good rapport with all disciplines to ensure resident needs are met
• Participate in continuing education programs
• Must be currently licensed to practice as an RN or LPN in this state
• Deal tactfully with personnel, residents, families, visitors, government agencies, and the public
