Position Overview

Brunswick Corporation is seeking a motivated and analytical Finance Intern to join our Corporate Finance team for an 8-10 week summer internship. This project-based role offers hands‑on experience supporting a strategic finance initiative while working in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Interns will be assigned a dedicated finance project in the following areas:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
  • Treasury and Cash Flow Management
  • Product Costing and Manufacturing Finance
  • Internal Audit or Compliance
  • Financial Systems and Process Optimization

Throughout the internship, you’ll collaborate with experienced finance professionals, receive one‑on‑one mentorship, and grow your network through team events and cross‑functional exposure. You’ll wrap up the experience by presenting your project insights directly to senior leaders—giving you visibility, impact, and a chance to showcase your work.

Pathway to FLDP

Top‑performing interns will be considered for Brunswick's Financial Leadership Development Program (FLDP)—a two‑year rotational program designed to fast‑track your career through diverse finance assignments, hands‑on learning, and cross‑functional exposure across Brunswick's businesses.

Essential Functions:

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead a defined finance project from initial scope to final presentation.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Develop financial models, dashboards, or reporting tools to generate business insights.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather input and validate assumptions.
  • Present project updates and final recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to process improvement or automation initiatives within the finance function.
Professional Development
  • Training: Participate in structured onboarding and finance‑focused learning modules.
  • Networking: Connect with finance professionals, fellow student groups, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Coaching & Mentorship: Receive one‑on‑one guidance from a dedicated manager and mentor.
  • Executive Exposure: Present your work and engage with senior leaders across Brunswick.

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.3, with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • A self‑starter with intellectual curiosity, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Able to work in a hybrid environment (onsite and remote).
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
  • Available for the full internship duration: mid‑May to mid‑August 2026.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior internship or work experience in corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, or data analytics.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling, financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
