Job Description:

This position is a unique hybrid role involving both Gastrointestinal (GI) and Interventional Radiology (IR). The RN will primarily handle IR/procedural sedation in the mornings and GI in the afternoons. The role includes circulating and procedural sedation, with no requirement for preop or recovery. The RN may be required to float to other units for support based on skillset, including GI or IR departments, ICU, or ER if necessary.
Responsibilities:
Circulate primarily in GI cases; if experienced, may serve as tech for GI cases.
Provide procedural sedation and circulate in IR procedures.
Requirements:
Must have 1 year of experience in IR, ICU, or ER.
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.
Procedural Sedation Certification to be obtained within the hiring window.
Familiarity with Cerner charting system.
