Salary: $140,000-$165,000 annually, DOE/DOQ
This position is based in Folsom, CA. While on-site work is preferred, telework arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.

Responsibilities- Develop and lead a highly engaging and dynamic communications program for both organizations to unify and drive the energy and ambition to make blueberries the world’s favorite fruit.
- Plan, direct, and oversee industry engagement and communications directed toward media, consumers, growers, marketers, exporters, importers, retail and food service, trade, distributors, allied industry spokespersons, foreign blueberry organizations, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other members of the management team to develop and execute the communications plan, promotional concepts, campaigns and related work.
- Operate at a director level with an “all-hands-on-deck” approach to accomplishing communications goals.
- Leverage an extensive background in association management communications, marketing programs, public relations, trade media and multi-channel communications with demonstrated results.
- Foster autonomy while leading a creative communications strategy centered around blueberries and supporting the blueberry industry’s global growth and development.
- Dynamic, creative thinker with genuine interest in agriculture, membership development, health, wellness and nutrition.
- Extensive background in association management communications, marketing, public relations, trade media, and multi-channel communications with proven results.
- Strong interpersonal skills, curiosity, tact, exceptional communication, and high emotional intelligence.
- Strong project management abilities and a collaborative approach to working with a management team.
- Background in a similar organization and/or agriculture or related cultural environment is highly desired.
The annual salary range is $140,000-$165,000; salary will be negotiated depending on qualifications and experience. PLUS an attractive benefits package.
