Responsibilities- Monthly coordination calls with Business Class leadership and/or section managers, addressing key items.
- Support the ongoing development of the Utility Coordination and Design Business Class.
- Identify upcoming projects and/or pursuits that need support from National Business Class leadership.
- Review upcoming workload and availability of business‑class staff.
- Review utilization reports to identify staffing needs; collaborate with regional leadership to achieve utilization goals.
- Identify participants (and participate when appropriate) in Project Approach and Resource (PARR) reviews and evaluations.
- Perform project reviews or audits to validate quality practices; review technical and performance issues and develop remedial actions.
- Serve as the focal point for the Transportation Business Group to deliver Utility Coordination and Design services in collaboration with other complementary Business Groups or Market Sectors.
The role also includes technical leadership within the business class, participation in hiring, staff interaction and communication, technical development, workshare management, project assignments, and support of select marketing activities including proposal development and sub‑consultant identification. Some travel may be required to support project pursuits and delivery nationwide.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in a professional, architecture, engineering, or closely related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in the related field.
- Maintains professional or engineering registration and has related technical experience.
- Experienced in developing and managing diverse teams.
- Works cooperatively with other Business Class Directors, operations managers, technical directors, and marketing managers on business class efforts.
- Committed to quality, continuous improvement, and HDR values.
- Active participant in the employee‑owned culture.
The position is non‑specific but a location with significant HDR presence is preferred. Average travel is estimated at 15 %, varying monthly between 15 % and 25 % ලබා.
