Data Entry Specialist

• Ability to take appropriate action based on the results of member information that has been screened against external state/federal databases.
• Complete the eligibility determination process.
• Generate case disposition letters.
• Performs data entry functions with the use of imaged documents.
• Accurately data enters all appropriate information.
• Implements data entry requirements in a timely manner.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management.
• Maintain performance standards established for the position.
• Recommended 35 WPM typing speed.
• Responsible for all activities associated with eligibility application screening.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• Ability to interact courteously and effectively with a variety of people; ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment; must be computer literate and possess the ability to quickly learn other software programs; ability to learn skills needed for quick and accurate data entry.
