Salary: £120 – £250 per day (depending on experience)

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of English to join a well‑regarded secondary school in Folkestone and Hythe. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative school environment where high‑quality teaching and student progress are highly valued.

The successful English Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and well‑structured lessons that help students develop strong reading, writing, and analytical skills. The school encourages creative approaches to teaching and supports staff in delivering lessons that inspire a genuine love of literature and language.

• Planning and delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Supporting students in developing their reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Assessing and monitoring student progress to ensure continued improvement
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential (applications without QTS will not be accepted)
• Previous experience teaching English at secondary level
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• The ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities
• A proactive, flexible, and professional approach to teaching
