Our client, a leading marine distributor and retailer with 60+ years of success, is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to join their Foley, Alabama team. This is a great opportunity for someone with marine or boating experience
, or a background in auto parts, hardware, or similar counter sales
. Entry‑level candidates with strong customer‑service skills and a mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply — training is available for the right person.

• Assist customers in selecting and purchasing marine or mechanical parts
• Provide product information, pricing, and technical guidance
• Process transactions through the POS system accurately and efficiently
• Support special orders and coordinate with suppliers for fulfillment
• Keep the counter area organized, stocked, and customer‑ready

• Prior experience in marine, auto-parts, or retail counter sales preferred
• Knowledge of marine coatings, paints, or components a plus
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer-service skills
• Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn product lines
