Responsibilities

Coordinates all activities related to the new project (Partnering to Improve Population Care) at the assigned station which requires both clerical skills and basic knowledge of outpatient care; troubleshoots the equipment necessary for on-site education and Tele-medicine; serves as a resource in the delivery of care via Tele-medicine; develops a working knowledge of the medical education process; assists in clinical care of patients utilizing general knowledge of nursing care, and medical terminology;

may be involved in serving as an interpreter; assists with billing and scheduling; regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required; performs related duties as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama. Directly related experience in a healthcare setting is preferred and will substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required education. Certified Medical Assistant and/or front desk experience in a medical/health office is preferred. Multilingual skills preferred.
