Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
Location: Waterview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

Waterview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department. The ADON helps ensure the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care to residents while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing and supervising nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs

• Support the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and evaluating nursing services

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and best practices in long-term care

• Participate in staff training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary processes

• Monitor resident care to maintain quality, safety, and satisfaction

• Assist with infection control, quality assurance, and clinical audits

• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in long-term care or rehabilitation preferred

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations
