Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T1920) rting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $15.00 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks and engage with guests to solve their specific needs.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve issues and improve guest experience; promote and engage around benefits, offerings and services.
• Explain and assist with Target Loyalty programs, including application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Understand and explain features of the Target App (including Wallet); assist with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, online ordering, and enrollment or activation of these features.
• Assist with returns following register prompts and partner with leaders as needed while adhering to Target policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area; handle stocking during store hours while remaining available to guests.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pickup (OPU), Drive-Up (DU) orders and DU returns, maintaining compliance with applicable laws (e.g., adult beverage laws).
• Other duties as assigned by business needs.

• You are open to flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
• Strong communication skills, a welcoming attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to educate guests about products and services.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; work independently and as part of a team; stay focused in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

• Accurately handle checkout operations and cash office support as needed.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely; able to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally without additional assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance and ability to remain mobile during shift.
• Exposure to varying temperatures and conditions in Drive-Up, carryout, and related duties.
