As a Pest Control Specialist at Pest Authority, you will use proven pest-control products and Barrier 360 treatments on both commercial and residential properties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
● Participate fully in training opportunities provided to enhance knowledge and to meet requirements for licensing.
● Work safely in accordance with state requirements, OSHA policies, and procedures, utilizing required safety equipment when performing duties.
● Use pesticide equipment, including sprayers, ladders, backpack blowers (up to 60 pounds), often in heat, humidity, and uneven terrain.
● Respond to customer inquiries and requests, notifying owners of complaints or issues for timely resolution, using excellent communication skills.
● Inspect for pest entry points and utilize training to provide customers with a pest-free environment, acting as a problem solver.
● Complete job documentation accurately and promptly.
● Work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, to meet responsibilities.
● Maintain a clean company vehicle and operate it safely and legally.
● Drive to client sites to provide professional, safe, and friendly pest control services.
Requirements:
● High School diploma or GED
● Valid Driver’s license with an excellent driving record
● 3-5 years of pest control experience, basic pest control knowledge, ability to obtain MS General Pest Permit
● Physical ability to stand, walk, move, climb, carry, bend, kneel, reach, handle, push, and pull
● Availability for extended hours and weekends as needed
