Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) – Full Time

Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and talented full‑time Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). The facility is a 120‑bed behavioral health center providing psychiatric services for adults, children, and adolescents, located in Flowood, MS.

The CNO is a key member of the Brentwood Leadership Team who will integrate and coordinate a patient‑centric nursing strategy, focusing on the following key areas:

The CNO participates in the hospital’s strategic planning and contributes to the achievement of institutional goals and objectives.

• Current license or permit to practice professional nursing in the state of MS.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a CCNE‑accredited program;
  Master of Science in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of behavioral health nursing clinical practices and management; experience in a free‑standing inpatient setting strongly preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of principles and practices relevant to nursing and patient care activities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective management and supervisory practices; highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Three or more years of progressive nursing management experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Ability to plan, direct, and monitor others’ activities with demonstrated leadership abilities that contribute to a positive work environment.
