Food Service Worker; Prn

Responsibilities

Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and talented Food Service Worker (PRN). Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a 120‑bed capacity behavioral health facility that provides psychiatric services for adults, children, and adolescents. The facility offers both inpatient and outpatient services in Flowood, MS, within driving distance of Hinds, Madison, and surrounding counties.

A dietary aide will be responsible for operating food preparation equipment, assembling food items, taking and recording temperatures, and ensuring stock and inventory control. The aide will perform duties in accordance with MSHD and JCAHO standards and follow facility sanitary guidelines. The role includes participating in special food service events, such as orientation and holiday celebrations, and performing physical food service operating procedures to ensure a safe, balanced, and appealing healthcare dietary environment.

Minimum: High school graduate or equivalent.

Preferred: Associate degree preferred and two years of experience in the mental health field (psychiatric/inpatient or outpatient setting).
