Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and talented Driver (PRN).

Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a 120 bed capacity behavioral health facility that provides psychiatric services. We specialize in treatment for adults, children and adolescents. Brentwood Behavioral offers both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services. Located in Flowood, MS, in Rankin County with close proximity to Hinds and Madison Counties, our outpatient services are within driving distance to many surrounding areas. • Provide patient transportation to and from the facility with continuous observation, interaction, and role modeling while maintaining safety.
• Work closely with clinical staff (Activity Therapists, Social Workers, Nurses) to conduct various process and specialty groups within the patient program.
• Help ensure that the patient program schedule is carried out as planned by the staff team.
• Perform duties assisting staff nurses in psychiatric and physical treatment and care of patients in accordance with established hospital methods and procedures.
• Interact with patients during activities and events throughout the treatment day and maintain therapeutic engagement while upholding appropriate boundaries.

• Previous experience in a mental health hospital setting is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, essential for effective patient interaction.
• Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively with others.
• Ability to exhibit empathy, respect and compassion in understanding and caring for patients.

Minimum: High school graduate or equivalent. Maintain a valid class specific driver's license applicable to transporting patients. Driving record must meet or exceed facility standards. BLS and De-escalation Certification required.

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in a mental health related field and two years of experience in the mental health field (psychiatric/inpatient or outpatient setting).
