As a Security Officer - Part-Time Foot Patrol in Flower Mound, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. - Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a tech and telecommunications location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, operations areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, and other site systems as assigned, and report irregularities, maintenance issues, and/or security‑related concerns through established communication channels.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including de‑escalation, coordinating with onsite contacts, and contacting emergency services when required.
- Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and support access control by checking identification, issuing visitor instructions, and/or controlling entry points per site policy.
- Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- Have CPR and/or First Aid preferred and this may be completed post hire.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
