• Learns and supports our You First culture and core values
• Puts supervisory skills to work, ensuring daily operations run according to plan and with high standards
• Ensures recipes are followed and food quality maintained
• Achieves restaurant sales and traffic goals, working to exceed them
• Coaches and observes the First Watch Five Steps of Service at every table
• Implements the 10 Commitments background story into daily operations
• Responds urgently to customer and employee concerns
• Handles repair and maintenance issues and takes ownership
• Is certified in food safety and coaches staff in safe food handling
• Scouts for and interviews candidates to join the team
• Secures company assets, including computers, point of sale, security systems and equipment
• Understands key responsibilities of every restaurant position
• Investigates and addresses inappropriate behavior
• Trains, coaches, and develops team members daily
• Recognizes high performance
• Accounts for all daily revenues and deposits
• Completes administrative duties and submits required paperwork on time
