Math Teacher

Overview

Flossmoor School District 161 is seeking an educator for the 2026-27 school year to join an exceptional staff at Parker Junior High as a Math teacher! Our current Math department at Parker Junior High School is comprised of nine teachers with wide ranging experiences.

• Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree in Education
• Prior teaching experience in Math in Grades 6-8 within the last ten (10) years, or relevant coursework, seminars or workshops in Math Grades 6-8 education completed within the last two (2) years
• A valid Illinois Professional Educators License (PEL) with a Math endorsement for middle grades is required
