Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Shipper / Receiver to be based out of Tampa, FL. The Shipper/Receiver will be responsible for but not limited to pulling orders, stock fitting shelves; loading and uploading trucks in the warehouse and making sure the product is secure and safe. Will report to the Shipping Manager.

What you’ll do:

• Pull fittings orders and check orders for accuracy.
• Ability to process transactions on scanners
• Knows and follows yard and dock loading/unloading safety rules and procedures.
• Able to locate, accurately count, and package products for shipment.
• Inspect products and packaging for damage.
• Package, palletize, and bundle products for shipment using means appropriate for the method of transportation.
• Proficiency in operating a forklift is required
• Adhere to all safety procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions immediately

What you’ll bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage deadlines accordingly.
• Exceptional diligence and a standard level of accuracy & and organization
• Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.

Within 3 months, you’ll:

• Complete any required training
• Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.
• Be well-versed in Atkore’s Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $18.50 per hour. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
