When you join Road & Rail Services as a Track Worker / Equipment Operator, your day starts early and ends with the satisfaction of knowing you've kept freight moving safely across the country. You'll spend most of your day outdoors, working with a crew that relies on each other to get the job done right. Some days, you'll be lifting and setting new ties into place or aligning rail with heavy equipment.
Other days, you'll be cutting steel, clearing vegetation, or making critical repairs to keep trains on schedule. It s hard, physical work, but it s the kind of work where you see the results right in front of you—and that makes it worth it.
- Experience in outdoor, physical labor such as construction, farming, or equipment operation
- A strong work ethic and reliability—people who show up and put in the effort every day
- Physical ability to handle lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and working on your feet
- Starting pay at $20/hour, with the opportunity to earn up to $24/hour based on experience
- Full benefits package including medical, dental, 401(k), paid holidays, and vacation
- Safety gear provided—including annual steel-toe boot allowance
