CDL Class A - Flat Bed Driver (Transportation)

We rely on our talented and dedicated team members to provide reliable products with personalized service. We are seeking a Flat Bed Driver for County Materials in Astatula, Florida.

• Demonstrate customer service while interfacing with clients.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and in-route inspections on all equipment, including securement devices.
• Properly secure load prior to transport following DOT regulations.
• Operate tractor trailer combinations.
• Transport freight while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.
• Perform duties consistent with all safety policies, including utilizing proper PPE.
• Unload transported material utilizing approved methods.
• Ensure cleanliness and good operating condition for assigned tractor.
• Receive work assignments and report back on job completion.
• Use consistent communication with dispatch.
• Maintain customer relations by acting in a professional, courteous manner.

Work in outdoor weather conditions. Work near moving machinery and equipment. Work alongside moving traffic on roads.

Sitting. Carrying / Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds. Standing / Walking / Climbing. Squatting / Crouching / Kneeling / Bending. Pushing / Pulling / Reaching Above Shoulder.

Must hold a valid Class A CDL prior to hire. Minimum of 2 years Class A CDL driving experience required. Oversize experience a plus but not required; will train.
