$12.13/hour. North Area/Mims/Titusville. Part-time/2 hours daily (mornings and afternoons) on school days. Responsible for the safe and orderly crossing of school-age children at assigned location.

• No formal training or experience is required.
• Experience as a crossing guard or other work with elementary school-age children is preferred.

• Must be of good moral character as determined by a background investigation.
• Must be able to pass the Brevard County Performance Checklist for School Crossing Guards prior to assuming School Crossing Guard duties.
• Must have, in good working order, a telephone at residence or a personal cell phone.
• In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster, that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
