Court Administration is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Drug Court Case Manager to support our Drug Court Program and make a meaningful difference in participants’ lives. In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive case management services to individuals navigating the program, including recruiting and assessing participants, developing and monitoring case plans, connecting individuals with community resources, and advocating for their success throughout the process.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the court team while helping participants move toward stability and positive outcomes.
To be considered, you’ll need either a bachelor’s degree in a related field or 4+ years of related professional experience, along with a valid Florida driver’s license. The ideal candidate brings experience in substance abuse and case management, a working knowledge of court processes, strong communication skills, and a high level of professionalism. Aboutthe Position
In this role, you will...
- Provide individualized case management, supporting participants with housing, employment, education, life skills, and community resources.
- Screen, assess, orient, and coordinate intake of participants into the Drug Court Program, including required documentation and referrals.
- Facilitate group sessions and follow up on referrals to support participant progress and successful outcomes.
- Build and maintain community partnerships while promoting the Drug Court Program.
- Maintain accurate case records and participate in team meetings, staffing, and court sessions.
Work Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Office
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (no weekends!). Schedules may be a combination of 7:00 a.m.
- 3:30 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.
- 5:30 p.m.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, counseling, social work, psychology, sociology, behavioral science, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- OR: 4+ years of progressively responsible related experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
- Valid Florida driver's license by date of hire.

- Experience with substance abuse issues and case management, including familiarity with related community resources.
- Working knowledge of the legal system, court processes, and judicial procedures.
- Ability to analyze case files, ensure completeness, and move cases through the court process efficiently.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Demonstrated professionalism, including confidentiality, effective relationship-building, and understanding the boundaries of case management versus legal practice.
Subject to Passing Substance Screening:
This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening. An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment for a period of five years.
Physical Demands:
Employees in this role must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.
CJIS Clearance:
The successful candidate will be subject to an extensive background check(s) as part of the hiring process.
Starting Pay: $21.85/hr
