Maintenance Technician
to join our 360 Blue team in
Cape San Blas, FL
! This full-time position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the homes in theCape San Blasarea.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Assist in overseeing the operation of the Cape San Blas portfolio of homes
  • Perform diversified duties to troubleshoot andmaintaincore home systems(i.e.HVAC, pool service, lock installation, septic systems, plumbing, electric, radiant heating systems, mechanics, etc.) in addition to the following:
    • Basic repairs to interior and exterior home aesthetics (i.e.painting, dry wall repair, basic construction, etc.)
    • Moving equipment, appliances, furniture, etc.
    • Hot tub servicing
    • Removing items from home for disposal
    • Maintain lawn, walkways, driveways, etc.
    • Debris and trash removal
    • Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test andmakeadjustments
    • Pick uptrash
    • Perform regular preventative maintenance inhomes
    • Perform a variety of plumbing, maintenance, and carpentry functions
    • Assist housekeeping when needed
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs to homes and perform scheduled maintenance repairs.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
  • Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test,andmakeadjustments
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance in homes and properties
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
  • Comply with safety regulations andmaintainclean and orderly workareas
  • Perform general maintenance/arrival audits prior to owner or guest arrivals
  • Perform general maintenance/departure audits upon owner or guest departure
  • Maintain details records of service performed in all units, according to the dailytimesheet
  • Communicate the completion and progress of assigned work orders
  • Perform maintenance as assigned by Management, including but not limited to audio/visual, electrical, basic plumbing, mechanics, and/or appliance repair
  • Responsible for tracking and upkeep of assigned tool inventory
  • Responsible for monitoring, tracking, and reporting credit card and purchase account usage
  • Record billable items and hours to be billed to guests and/or owners for work orders
  • Emergency on-call phone – all of team will be tasked with this responsibility

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Basic knowledge of audio/visual, electrical, plumbing, mechanics, and appliance repair
  • Proficiency in technology such as cell phones and basic computer skills
  • Ability to work alone and as part of ateam
  • Valid driver’s licensewithgood driving record
  • Basic organizational skills to effectively record and catalogue documents on work performed
  • Proactive and flexible in approach to job duties and problem-solving
  • Ability to exercise good judgement
  • Oral and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer/guest focus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask
DESIRED
  • Basic troubleshooting knowledge of internet routers
  • HVAC Certification
  • Experience in the hospitality industry and/or with a growing company
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position. Due to the nature of the job, the Maintenance Technician should be flexible with their hours. Weekends and holidays are required and will generally be busy and considered working days with guest arrivals and departures although these can be covered on request and approval of the General Manager.…
