Journeyman Electrician & Apprentice Helper

Location: Venice, Florida

Schedule: 40 Hours per Week (Possible Overtime as Needed)

Local Talent Only - No Per Diem

Journeyman Electrician:

Pay Rate: $46.00 per hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Venice, Florida. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial and/or residential experience and be capable of working independently while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
• Install panels, breakers, conduit, lighting, and wiring systems
• Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently
• Ensure all work complies with NEC and local codes
• Supervise and mentor apprentices as needed

Requirements:

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license (Florida preferred)
• OSHA 10 Certification or higher required
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and NEC codes
• Ability to work 40 hours per week with overtime as needed
• Reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Apprentice Electrician Helper

Pay Rate: Starting at $24.00 per hour and up (based on years of experience)

Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Electrician Helper to assist with commercial and residential electrical projects. Pay will depend on experience level.

Responsibilities:

• Assist journeyman with installations and repairs
• Pull wire, bend conduit, install fixtures and devices
• Maintain tools and job site cleanliness
• Follow safety procedures at all times
• Learn and develop electrical trade skills

Requirements:

• Electrical experience required (pay based on experience)
• OSHA 10 Certification or higher required
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week)
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Reliable transportation
